Love this stuff
I used nothing but control paste from Aveda forever, and a couple of years ago, I bought this shine paste, and I'm very happy with it. I'm a curly platinum blonde, and without a lot of shine, my hair just looks like a white hydrangea sitting on top of my head. This paste gives it body and control without crunchiness, and the added shine gives it depth of color.

GIVES LOTS OF SHINE, BUT A LITTLE STIFF
I love the shine on my highlights when I pick them out, but sometimes it is a little to stiff. I am still getting used to using it and also have the "matte" version. I do like this much better than those that are very sticky.

Not like it used to be
I have used this clear paste for years. It’s normally a semi solid clear paste. This time, it’s a blob of gel…much wetter. Will not purchase again.
