On the positive side, I did find that this product helped to maintain style for several days. On the less than desirable side, it made my hair feel stiff with an odd, almost chalky feel. Those effects could be mitigated by a small addition of coconut oil, which made my hair softer and didn't interfere with the hold. I prefer other Kenra products.
