Seems to be great!
I was ready to return this on the first try. After letting it settle for a few minutes I thought, hmm could this be the foundation I’ve searched for all my life. I’m in my 40’s. I have fine lines, large pores, dark spots, acne scars and uneven tone. I used the green base and then I applied this using a dry sponge. The second time I set the sponge and stippled it into the skin moving in different directions, worked even better. I first covered my face with one pump and it dries very fast and just used a half pump last and done. I kind of love this. The match is perfect for my fair rosy skin. I got 002. I then used some of their brightening moisture powder on spots that I feel needs a little more coverage. After about 5 minutes it all seems to meld together and look so flawless! It feels like I have nothing on my skin. I am so happy that LovelySkin carries so many brands and offers discounts. I order all of my products from LovelySkin.

very light, but great coverage
This feels so light...it does not feel thick, but the coverage is similar to a "thick" foundation. I have age spots on my face and it covers them. It lasts very well throughout the entire day.

Perfect skin in a bottle!
This really is a great natural skin like foundation that brings out the natural beauty in your own skin. It won’t cover major flaws, but you can add concealer for that. I use shade 002 on my fair, pink-toned NW 18 skin. My skin is good, but as I age I have noticed that foundations that I used to love are not sitting well on my skin anymore. This foundation does give you that facial like glow as it conceals redness without clinging to dry patches, or emphasizing pores, texture, or lines and wrinkles. I highly recommend it, especially if you are over 40.

Might be the best foundation I've ever used
I'm quite grateful to the reviewers that noted that Warm 213 was great for pale olive skin because it was a perfect match for my normally impossible to match pale olive skin. It wore like a dream on my dryish skin too. I had been a devoted user of a foundation from a different brand (old version, recently discontinued) and since I've purchased a number of things, and had even more samples of, foundations that were either the wrong tone (too yellow, too pink) and just didn't work for my slightly dry-ish skin. I've gone to department stores and puzzled countless people because I'm just so hard to match. This was a perfect match for my pale olive skin that's never been a match in popular brands. It applied beautifully and wore great throughout a long day.

The only foundation for me
This is the only foundation i’ve ever found that matches my skin tone, Light Olive completion. (213). Most foundations are only warm, cool or neutral. Even if I find the rare shade that works for olive completions, it is usually too dark. This is a beautiful formula, doesn’t give me polka dot pores, soft velvety finish, not too glowy, not too matte. Worth the money, if you can get on sale.

Great foundation
I've tried so many foundations over the years and this one is one of the best. It is great for dry skin. I do find, like others, that it's best to put a thin layer, let it dry and then add another layer for fuller coverage. It feels like you are not wearing any foundation and leaves skin better than it was before using. Also, the shade I bought (213) was great for a light olive skin tone, which is almost impossible to match in other brands.

Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation is definitely a high end foundation but it is absolutely worth it! Goes on like a satin dream, stays put through Texas July heat, did NOT settle into lines and wrinkles, and didn’t transfer. Looked amazing after 12+ hours wear. Medium/lighter coverage but you can amp up to fuller coverage by adding 2nd layer after 1st layer dries. Excellent for mature dry skin. You’re worth it!
