Not my fave but a solid option for many people
It's okay. Definitely still a little bit of a white cast when you use the full 1/4 teaspoon amount for face, it lessens after it's "set" but still there. And I'm a very pale person. I find the white cast pretty annoying with blending it into my hairline, too--makes me look like I have gray hair. Also have found I have to be careful with which moisturizer I apply beforehand as I've had a lot of "pilling" happen with some combinations. Still, I like how matte the finish is and I think it would be a good option maybe for a very pale person who prefers to use a mineral product. It has that nice upside of a mineral sunscreen in that you can put it really close around your eyes and not feel any irritation!

One year ago I underwent MOHS surgery and plastic surgery repair to the nose for basal cell carcinoma. Since then, keeping 50 spf on, is paramount. With a scar I’m finding out also how to keep minimum clogging in those pores around the nose, and this product is working well for my sun protection and skin care. It doesn’t clog up, it’s very fluid, and while it may deliver a tad white case, I offset that with a light touch of mineral powder or sometimes I’ll mix in a bit of tinted sunscreen. My skin is porcelain so most tinted spf products are too dark. I will likely repurchase this product which my MOHS surgeon recommended.

Great sun protection that wears pretty well
I like this sunscreen from La Roche Posay because it doesn't sting my eyes or my skin. I tried the tinted version, and it was a bit dark for my complexion. This is minimally whitening, if at all, when blended in. I definitely need moisturizer under it, as with a lot of sunscreens I've used to facilitate smooth blending. It did gather a bit around my sunglasses when I sweat a bit yesterday, so it's not one of those sunscreens that wear like iron.Reapplication during prolonged exposure is always recommended. It seems like solid protection to me. The only thing I've noticed is a tiny bit of a warm/slight stinging feeling after I use tretinoin. I don't know what's in it that could be causing that, as I don't experience it with all sunscreens. For that reason, I give it 4 stars.

Be careful not to use too much as this will definitely leave a white film on the skin, like all mineral sunscreens do. So far, I really love this sunscreen. I have always been a huge fan of La Roche- Posay after discovering them last year and must say this new mineral sunscreen is superb! First, I have very oily skin and am prone to get very large painful cystic acne pimples so I am always afraid of something clogging my pores. I don’t wear makeup, or moisturizer and I can’t tell you how wonderful this stuff feels on my skin. It does not leave a lot of white on my skin, and it does not make my skin oilier then it already is. I really love the texture and the feel of this sunscreen. I can’t tell you if it makes me break out since I have just started to use it, but I have come to trust this brand for minimal break-outs (I have come to accept that I will always have cystic acne no matter what I do). Anyway, a GREAT product and I am so glad that it is mineral. The only reason I don’t give it full stars is because this product needs to be cruelty free.
