Goody!
It is gentle for my 11 years when he has mild skin rash, my daughter also use it when her dried acne scars getting heal. I sometimes use it when my neck are irritated when season changes, it has simple ingredients and it works.

A must for those extra dry areas
Being that I use both Retin A and Obagi's Professional C serum, I find that the area around my nose gets overly dry. Even though I use La Roche Posay's Toleraine Riche Moisturizer for very dry skin, this area needs additional care. I layer this balm over my moisturizer and even re-apply through out the day as needed (dry winter months). Highly recommend.

Dense, heavy duty soothing balm
I recently started using tretinoin. To try to prevent irritation and flakes, I've been using this at night, comparing it with a popular drugstore brand of petrolatum-based healing ointment. It is less oily/sticky than the ointment, so I generally prefer it. However, it is still a dense and heavy duty balm that makes it nighttime use only for me, layered over a separate moisturizer. It starts with an opaque white tint that disappears as I press it into the skin (because it's so dense, I blend a dab at my fingertips and press into my skin instead of trying to rub it in). I still have minor flaking that is probably inevitable with tretinoin, but I think this balm has kept my skin from getting red and irritated. When I have episodes of very extremely dry areas at the corners of my mouth and around my nose, I use this and add a layer of the petrolatum-based ointment over it.

Great stuff
I use this stuff after outing my tretinoin on my face and neck, and I wake up without redness or irritated skin, can't be without and it is reasonably priced.

So lovely to use!
This feels like a cream, but moisturises like a balm. I needed something to nourish the particularly dry patches on my face caused by tretinoin, and this does the trick! It glides on and disappears leaving a slightly shiny sheen, so I only use it at night. In all, it’s brilliant!!

Skin saver
This is the best product for skin with compromised moisture barrier. Retin a or other strong treatments can dry you out and cause peeling skin. This will fix it. You can layer it over a moisturizer at night and see better skin in the morning.

Great soothing product
This baume is awesome for soothing dry skin! I decided to order this prior to starting on Tretinoin, and it is really helping with my irritation and redness! I will definitely reorder and use in the winter too, as Nebraska’s winters are rough on skin!

Gentle. Soothing. Solves problems overnight.
This is now my go-to moisturizer when I need some deep hydration. I have super sensitive skin and I wear makeup daily, and this thick balm really soothes angry skin and moisturizes deeply. I use it overnight. It makes my skin so smooth and calm by morning. About once a week I use glycolic acid, let it dry, and I massage this in on top. Skin looks amazing by morning. The texture is very interesting- definitely between a rich moisturizer and a thick balm. Amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Product
This is a fantastic product to have on-hand. During the fall and winter months, I use this cream as an evening facial moisturizer to help settle skin dryness from using Retin-A cream.

Nice
It is a nice product to have. I did like the original formula better. I think this one is a bit heavier, but you can''t go wrong with La Roche Posay

Very nice
I use this for early cold morning runs under my sunscreen. Not greasy goes on white but absorbs quickly. A little goes a long way, and my skin is extremely dry from retin A. Not expensive either. Very nice would purchase again.

Perfect for Troubled Skin
I have extremely oily, acne prone skin, and it's taken much trial and error to find a daytime moisturizer with sun protection that does not make my acne worse. Even though I have sensitive skin, I tend to react badly to products marketed towards this issue, so it's been a challenge to say the least. I have been using the Cicaplast Baume B5 daily for about a year and a half and will continue to do so as long as they still make it. Pros: Effective physical barrier sun protection Moisturizing Unscented Doubles as a makeup primer Doesn't give me acne! Cons: Thick (if this bothers you, you can mix some facial oil in with it. Sometimes, I mix this with marula oil.) Will leave a white cast if you're not pretty fair Will leave a slight shine if you don't use any powder afterwards Can be hard to get product out when it starts running low Overall, I personally recommend this if you have bad reactions to most moisturizers. It can seem a bit pricey for the size, but using this once daily, it lasts me about 5 months.

Awesome product
I received a sample of this after ordering other products from LovelySkin. It came in handy when my skin was irritated after using a Retin A cream. It was a life saver! It helped to calm and moisturize my skin. I even used it on my lips, which seem always to be dry! I decided I needed to add this to my beauty bag. It helps serve as a moisturizer yet helps calm redness of my skin when I have a breakout. It also came in handy when I had a laser procedure to help with acne and uneven pigment. I recommend this product to anyone who needs a cream that will moisturize and calm irritated skin! I plan to keep some of this on hand at all times!

La ROCHE -Posey Cicaplast Baume B-5 Soothing Multi-Purpose Balm
I was looking for a heavy cream for not only my neck, but I am an above knee amputee that often gets sores from wearing my prosthesis. So when I saw the word "balm," relief and cooling came to mind. After reading the reviews and the price was reasonable, I ordered the product, and love it. It's thick, but not greasy, and rubs gently absorbing quickly, with no sticky residue. A very pleasant smell tops this product off. P.S. Works great for both neck and amputee sores!
