Reviews For La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 Soothing Multi-Purpose Balm
Thick Soothing Cream
I originally purchased this product to use at nighttime on nights when my skin felt super dry. It is very soothing and easy to apply, but I found that it really wasn’t as moisturizing for me as I’d hoped. I will definitely use for irritation as necessary, but apply something more emollient with it.

Good moisturizer for night - a bit heavier
I purchased this and a Avene moisturizer to test. I recently started Retin-a and was worried about peeling. The La Roche Posay lotion is a bit thicker/creamier so I usually use this one on the nights I use Retin-A. I have oily/combination skin, and so far I have had zero peeling and very little irritation. I’ve been using Retin-A and this lotion for a month now.

Good moisturizer for dry skin
I bought this balm for my mother in law who has dry skin on elbows. She likes it.

Dry Skin Soother
Small container for the price. I use periodically whenever I have a bout of dry skin after a facial peel. It is not an item I would use daily, but it serves its purpose. Not sure if I will repurchase though.

Good Healing Cream
I started using this product after regular application of Rx Tretinoin to help fight the dryness that comes along with it. It is great to apply to healing acne as well. May be a bit too heavy/leave a bit of a white cast if used under makeup. Lovelyskin is the only place I've seen that has sales on this product or you can apply discounts to.

It's good but could be great
I really wish this were a little less siliconey and more creamy. Feel like that would make it more truly moisturizing.

Soothing
Not much to the formula but it is soothing on parched skin.

This helps with chapping
This does help with chapped skin, for sure. And it isn't irritating. And it doesn't sting. But if you have chronic eczema, I wouldn't look to it as a curative option, though it can help with the inflammation.

Loved this product
I live in the Southeast. Extreme cold and high indoor heat are not usually too much of a problem. This year has been different. Although my skin tends to be somewhat oily, the combination of heated air and cold temps have really chapped and irritated my face. In addition, I am sensitive to products with added scents. The Cicaplast Baume has soothed and softened my facial skin. Because it doesn't have any added fragrance my skin also didn't become inflamed.

Great Cream for Eczema
I use this cream for eczema patches on my skin. It heals my skin and takes away the itchiness associated with the eczema rash. Love the price even when not on sale. I gave it four stars for the size of the tube. As much as I use it, I wish it came in a bigger tube. Highly recommend.

An amazing moisturizer for sensitive skin with redness issues!
My skin is very sensitive to temperature changes (especially during the winter!) and my cheeks turn very red, which is not covered with make-up. I put Cicaplast before going to bed, because the redness on my face usually gets really bad at night, and it really clams down my skin and in the morning the redness is almost entirely gone. It is also very moisturizing, but never too oily! It has a thick texture that doesn't absorb into skin right away but it's not sticky. This is really great stuff and I love the price, too!

Thick product
This product is very thick and greasy! It does its job in relieving dry itchy skin, but I have to use a tissue to take it off because it feels so oily!
