This is definitely thick, it's even a bit hard to get out of the time, but if you're looking for a good barrier for the lips, this does the trick. It's not irritating, but it's not a balm I'd want to wear daily.

It’s good-needs frequent reapplication
My lips get really dry. This product helps a lot, as long as it’s reapplied frequently. That said, over the course of a week, my dry lips have healed up better than they have with other brands.

A balm that stands out
I’ve been a La Roche-Posay sunscreen fan for years but wasn’t familiar with Cicaplast lip balm. I’ve had a problem with balms causing peeling in my lips even when they didn’t contain sunscreen. But this one didn’t do that. It was not sticky or gloppy and it was considerably long lasting. My lips look and feel smoother. I recommend it!
