Rivals my Bifacil
I have used Bifacil by Lancôme for a decade and nothing can ever compare to its removal properties because I use waterproof mascara 5 days a week. It was the only thing that effectively removed the mascara without leaving mascara residue or pulling my lashes off. Enter Respectissime, which I bought on a whim because I had used the very last bit of my Bifacil, and I didn’t have the time to get it in a brick and mortar store. This actually works just as well, and the feel is so much better than Bifacil because it is not as oily. I wear contacts, and my pet peeve was the stinging and oily residue I get from Bifacil. It is also much gentler in my opinion without the fragrance. This is a very effective cleanser, and I have to mention that for it to do its magic, I soak cotton pads and let that sit on my eyelashes for 20 seconds or so, then wipe off. I have never had any of my lashes fall out when I do it this way and it gets the waterproof mascara off without friction. With that, I give it my highest recommendation. It has replaced what I have used for years and it is much more cost-effective, AND I can get it easily through this website when I buy the bulk of my skin care products—win-win!

So-So make up remover
I like La Roche-Posay products and use several. I assumed the Respectissime Make Up Remover would be just as good. It did an almost adequate job of removing my mascara. I don't use waterproof. The downfall of it is that my eyes felt greasy after using it, and there was sort of a film on my eyeballs. I won't use it again.

It works fine if the mascara is not waterproof mascara. It will not remove my waterproof mascara. When I went to the beach, I used waterproof mascara. Somewhat disappointed that I could not get the waterproof mascara off. When I switched to regular mascara, the eye makeup remover worked great.
