I use this cleanser after an oil cleanser when I remove my makeup this cleanser will not remove makeup thoroughly on its own. This cleanser is very creamy I massage it into my skin for about 60 seconds before rinsing. I follow up with the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double-Repair Moisturizer (not the one with UV), and my skin no longer feels tight or flaky after I wash it.

I think a big part of the effectiveness is in that I pair it with the Lipikar AP Moisturizer in this same line.
