Ehh Okay Cleanser.
This cleanser is really nice, but it definitely does not remove waterproof makeup like I thought it was going to. I would highly recommend using micellar water prior to washing your face with this cleanser if you have any make up on. It does smell nice though without being overpowering or irritating.

Maybe its a great product and I just don’t like this lotion texture of it…maybe it’s just too gentle for me..I don’t really know why people love it so much my friend recommended me this and she loves it… but for me?? I don’t understand why it’s even considered a cleanser… it didn’t remove makeup very well not to mention the mascara it didnt remove any of it.. so I used it as a morning cleanser … and still I rather use a toner in the morning instead because it doesn’t really cleanse the face and the water itself is very drying to my skin…

I’m currently searching for a new face cleanser after using a different one for years. Dermalogica changed their new formula greatly irritated my skin. I have rosacea and sensitive skin. This cleanser works okay if my skin is not as dry or irritated. I’ve noticed if I’ve used retinoids or lactic acid serums for a few days or my skin is more dry, this cleanser does sting and cause increased redness in my rosacea. I find it does irritate my eyes at times as well. I’m not sure if it’s the Nicinamide in it? It’s probably not a terrible product if you have normal skin.

This cleanser is okay for those days when I feel like I’ve over exfoliated but end up using 2 pumps to feel like I’ve washed the days gunk off. I’ve developed a few pimples during the time I’ve been using this cleanser but I can’t attribute them to just this product. I typically am a fan of their products but this one isn’t a favorite unfortunately.

Hydrating Gentle Cleanser
This cleanser was excellent for use in the first few weeks. After that, my face became very irritated and use of the product caused a burning sensation. The only ingredient I can imagine causing this is propylene glycol. All other La Roche-Posay products have not caused this reaction.
