It’s okay
I was trying a different cleanser since the Skinceuticals is on back order. It’s okay. It does not make my skin feel soft after cleansing like my other usual cleanser but my skin did feel clean.

Cleanser
I bought this product for my daughter who recently has been experiencing breakouts at age 19. This product was recommended by customer service because it is gentle. However, this cleanser made her skin very dry especially where she was not breaking out. She discontinued using the product.

I think this is an ok cleanser. For me, it was too drying.

Won’t buy again
I normally use the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydraiting Cleanser and will go back to it after finishing the Purifying Cleanser. I have a sensitive skin and unfortunately after each use of the Purifying Cleanser my skin feels tight and I have to put a moisturizer right away. Also, the cleanser is extremely foamy. On a positive note, it removes make up and excessive oil pretty well. It rinses off easily.

Normal Skin Drys Out
Ingredient list is beautiful, but it makes my skin very dry after washing off.

Good but not great
This is probably really good for someone with super sensitive skin and more dry/combination skin. I’m sensitive, but more oily. I liked the way this goes from gel to foam; however, I felt a bit of a residue on my skin after rinsing. Very soothing and does what it says. Just not for me. I like the non-medicated Effaclar gel cleanser better.

Strong
I will use this once in a while or perhaps during the summer months when it's humid out. Otherwise, it's too drying and strong for my skin type. Not everyone responds the same, so it may be great for someone else.
