could be larger but, both were a decent size for small to medium sized hands. love the way these clean without irritating your skin, feels soft, yet you can sometimes feel it is exfoliating your skin. A little hard to get a good grip on them once soaped up but, sticking your index finger in one of the holes in sponge (if they all have one or two or three...) makes it easier to keep a hold on it without having to pay attention. i was impress at how easily these come clean, unlike washcloth, loofahs, plastic sponge thingies, and other things i have used, these sea wool sponges only require you to hold it up under shower head till it runs clear (within seconds) and than gently squeeze/wring water out of it once.. i use the free and clear liquid cleanser with this and it lathers up very well. these sponges are definitely what i will be using from now on, only thing that would be better is one that comes with a detachable handle so you can reach center of your back.
