This gel is excellent for people who like me have a somewhat rough skin texture due to sebaceous hyperplasia and areas with medium large pores but not a very oily complexion. It does not irritate my skin so I can use it as often as I want , it leaves my skin smooth and my little bumps seem to become flatter. Some exfoliating serums are sticky, this is ok.

I love the Lovely Skin Luxe line and utilize several of their products. This was one that I added about a year ago and I use it at least once a week. I started out with the 9%, worked my way up to this 11% and at one point in time actually used the 15% as well. However, I decided to back off and start using the 11% again. I feel like my skin feels most comfortable with this percentage, the 9% is actually called an acne care gel, however, I used it to start out with to see if the 11% would be OK to move on to. I feel like this gel does an excellent job of minimizing my pores and exfoliating my skin just enough, certain areas tend to it just a little bit at first when I first when it is initially applied, but that goes away quickly. I like this so much I will continue to buy it. I believe it has also helped to even out my skin tone and smooth out my skin.

I really like these gels, they are very effective. I have used the 9% for a while but I decided to up the ante for the 11%. I use this at night in place of my Retinaldehyde. I alternate nights between the two and honestly I have been noticing more results with this than my Ret product. This stuff plumps the skin and helps minimize the appearance of fine lines. It can tingle upon application but it settles down quickly and is such an easy product to use. You can just put it on and be done. I don’t put anything on top of it or under it. I just wash my face, let it dry, put this on and my eye cream and call it a night. I do have pretty sensitive skin that is oily and acne prone and I have never had a bad reaction to this or the 9%. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for anti aging benefits or acne issues, it really is a great product.
