When I think I can do without, I return
I've been using this since an award-winning dermatologist instructed me to use this specific product every night (and the SPF day one) -- and it's been 15 years, which says a lot. Sometimes when I run out, I begin to budget-think (because of the high price) & I decide maybe I don't need it, or that I'll find something less expensive, or this & that. I always end up returning to it because my face looks/feels noticeably better from it's effects. I can look kind of haggard (and just not as good) without it, especially if I'm under-slept or stressed. It's like not working out: eventually it shows. It simply makes your face better; but see, then you get used to looking better. So then you think it's not doing all that much, so you quit. But then you realize it was a continuation long term plan that helped you. You realize that because you see that you're not facing as good of a face in the mirror in the morning. So don't do that. Because it takes time to bounce back. Learn from me & keep going with it. Some tips to make it last longer: apply immediately after you pat your face dry from cleansing. If you wait longer your skin will need to use more & it won't apply as silkily and easily. Allow only a small dot to come out on four fingers instead of a larger amount. This requires patience. (If you use more you will want to rub more to use up that amount, so don't do that; go sparingly with tiny amounts. Pretend it's the last bottle available & you are rationing it. Keep your touch gentle & light by thinking peacefully & treating your skin as if it's a baby. Don't hurry, it makes you put too much pressure on the skin.. Do all these things & it lasts longer. I waste so much when I'm hurried or impatient. In the end, remember outward beauty isn't what's really important, so just be a good steward of your skin -- and put the real work into speaking with love & grace and keeping a clean heart. These things are more beautiful. I hope this honesty & the frugality tips are a help to whoever reads them.

I've only been using this for about a week. My initial thought was that it was a bit greasy and had ingredients I wouldn't have normally expected for the concerns it addresses. With that, I believe with consistent use and combining with other serums and beauty tools, I will see results in the end.

Nice addition to nighttime routine
I am always looking for a perfect skincare routine. I have tried many products in my lifetime. My skin is sensitive. If a product is too rich my skin will react. If it is not rich enough it does nothing for my aging skin. This is a nice balance so far. My skin feels supple and hydrated in the morning. It is too early to tell if long term results make a significant change in the appearance of by skin.

I really saw an improvement in the texture and tightness after using NeoStrata skin active Cellular Restoration after about two weeks. I'm 66 years old, and when I was talking to my doctor about having a senior flu shot this week, she turned and looked at my file and said "I had to double check your age because you don''t look old enough for a senior shot." Great stuff. Since starting to use it, I have no need in any exfoliating. It resurfaces with care. Makes pores less noticeable and clears imperfections. It illuminates my skin from inside out. I use this product every other night in change with Neostrata Skin Active Retinol +NAG complex. Can not use at day time because my oily skin is sensitive. Have been using 3,5 months and still have more than a half in a tube. No breaks out. Age 42.

This cream is very light weight on my skin. It has a very soft, cream consistency, and it applies great under my makeup. I have very sensitive, acne- prone skin, and this treatment did not break me out! After cleansing and toning, I apply a pump of this to my fave, wait about 10 minutes for it to fully absorb, then follow with my moisturizer. I alternate this treatment with my TNS Essential Serum from skinmedica and I am seeing more even tone to my skin, and less texture. I would repurchase this item. I'm looking forward to trying other NeoStrata products!

I used a sample of this initially and felt my skin definately had a more youthful, "transparent" appearrance after ~ 1-2 weeks of inconsistent use. I apply it at night 2-4 times per week, alternating with PTR retinol PM or skn ceuticals retinol 1%. I am 54 and am often mistaken to be in my "early 40s". However, i have litle stress in my life and have always spent way too much on skin care that I now believe has paid off! I will purchase again b/c at 20% off it is one of the most cost effective additions to my routine I have used.

I use Neocutics as my complete skin care line but I recently purchased this product becuase of price and promise. I do like it but am not willing to switch completely away from Neocutics. Since this brand is more affordable I use it every 3 to 4 days in place of my more expensive product. It seems to be working out fine, giving me good results and saving me money. I like to switch up or introduce a new product now and then, it seems like my skin reacts better when I do. Age 57
