Not what I was looking for
I recently purchased Obagi Hydrate Luxe to use as a night cream. I will use it since I bought it, but will not repurchase it. It is extremely thick and feels heavy on my skin. Perhaps if you are looking for a cream to put it over retin A at night, it might work, but I prefer the products of a different brand.

I have sensitive combination skin which gets really dry in the winter time, I have been using the regular hydrate and it's been working great for me, except it didn't provide enough moisture for my winter skin. I bought Hydrate Luxe with high hopes but it failed expectation. It's thick and doesn't absorb well into the skin so it sits on top. It also makes my skin itchy. Be careful if you have sensitive skin. Will not buy again.

This cream is like a thick paste, my delicate thin sensitive skin felt like it was suffocating. This would probably work great for someone in a very dry climate or someone who's skin is cracking and peeling. If you have normal or oily skin this will just make your skin feel like it can't breathe. I returned this product.

I am disappointed in this cream which was recommended by LovelySkin. I do have very dry skin but this is very thick and pills on the skin when you try to apply foundation over it. I have tried waiting longer for it to penetrate skin but it does not penetrate well either, I should have returned it but was hoping I would get used to it.

I bought this product because it was recommended as a replacement for the apparently discontinued Obagi Advanced Gentle Rejuvenation Night Repair that had been a very effective product for my rosacea. This product has a somewhat strong fragrance. Although I have mature skin, it is more combination, and this is a heavy product that for me leaves a greasy unabsorbed feel. I have been using it for a few weeks and am not loving it. I don’t think it’s going to work for me.

this is not a good replacement for Kinerase
I purchased this product as it was advertised as a replacement for Kinerase Pro-therapy, but it is far greasier and heavier than the Kinerase product. If someone wants a heavier facial product this is fine, but not what I believed I was ordering.
