Love the foundation but the pump quit working
Great coverage and the color is great for this red-headed, blue-eyed ginger! But about two weeks in the pump broke. I ordered another bottle, but I’m still struggling trying to get the foundation out of the first bottle. If the second one breaks, I’m done.

Decent coverage, weird color
Because they divide into blue undertone vs yellow tone, and I have a blue undertone plus light to medium skin, I chose the color ''Taupe." I didn't expect it to literally be a taupe color, but it is–a definite grayish cast to it. Weird and not particularly flattering, although it doesn't look too bad on and does cover pretty well.

Nice but not worth the price tag
This is a nice foundation, however, I had a couple of problems with it. First, I had trouble getting a color to match my fair, freckled skin. I chose "Creme," which is a bit too yellow/dark for me. Secondly, I found it hard to spread the foundation on my skin. Maybe, I should have used a moisturizer first. It is also very expensive for such a small amount of product in the container. Mine arrived looking half empty. Lastly, the promotional description of the product at the top states that it has a sunscreen. However, I do not see any SPF listed on the actual bottle, so I am wondering if I should apply my own sunscreen underneath it? I probably won't purchase this again.

It's okay
I am 60 years old and have very dry and fair skin. I purchased the Pearl color which is the lightest one. It's fine for summer, but it would look dark on me in the winter. The formulation dries to a matte finish which looks very nice initially. However, after a few hours, it looks like my skin is very dry and the foundation has settled into my fine lines. So I have been applying more moisturizer and mixing the Oxygenetix foundation with a dab of a different and very moisturizing foundation and the results are perfect for summertime. I plan to use the foundation up this summer in this way, but I won't be purchasing another. The one thing I really like about it is that it doesn't give me a rash or cause redness.

I have been a regular
I have used this product for 2 years. In the past, I have been concerned that it is too thick, and after a few applications, I have to spoon it out. Well, I wonder if someone else gave them that feedback because this time, it is way to thin.

good for post-procedure
I bought this at the recommendation of my derm after microneedling. It worked well for that, good coverage, but too much coverage for an average day.

Not Enough Product
Are you kidding with .5 ounces? This is crazy expensive, and this review is coming from someone who spends a lot of money on very high end skincare and treatments. I ordered this to help cover redness from a laser treatment, so I paid $30 extra for overnight delivery. Just disappointed as to the amount of product. Needs to be at least double in size.

I really wanted to love this
After trying revisions tinted moisturizer (matte) and LOVING it, I have been on the search for a natural-ish more coverage foundation for special occasions. I have acne prone-oily skin and I enjoy the initial application of this product. It makes my skin look porcelain (I'm very fair and ordered Pearl). After several hours in my humid NC climate my face looks like it's oxidized/ dark and you can see every pore on my face. It's certainly breathable but is SO oily. I won't be re-ordering.

Tinted Sunscreen, Not Foundation
After reading from a few skin care specialists that this foundation is a go-to-choice after skin procedures, I was excited to try it out, and was impressed by the sale price option. It is a staff favorite for a reason. I have a complex set of skin concerns: I am dry and prone to acne and clogged pores. This foundation wears very light, but like a sunscreen. It has very minimal staying power, so if you have redness it is not the foundation for you. Full coverage in my yellow shade, leads to oxidation and grey tones that are not suitable... true foundations (makeup) spend a lot of time balancing the visual effect, this item prioritizes its ingredients, but you do not get the benefits of a results oriented makeup with color balance and staying power. I therefore find the title misleading. great for mature, sensitive skin. Light weight, but can feel heavy depending on the moisturizer you use underneath as it can bond to create a mask-like effect.

Not sure if it''s worth the price
Not happy with the coverage for this price, but if you don''t have much to cover, it''s a nice formula that lets your skin breathe.

It Oxidizes after a week of using it.
Based on the marvelous responses, I went ahead and purchase this expensive foundation. At first use, I thought it was amazing. After a week of using the product, my skin start to fight back. It oxidizes after 2 hours of wear and becomes darker and not so flattering. I feel as if I need to wash my face, it feels sticky, as if I am wear a mask and I am also breaking out. I love the initial coverage when I first put it on but then it starts doing something to my skin, where I feel uncomfortable. I have experience the oxidization with cheaper makeup before, but I didnt think this brand would do that. I will try using a primer as someone suggested, but if that doesnt work, I am sending it back.

Doesnt quite live up to the hype...
I had high hopes for this foundation. Its OK - the coverage isnt as good as what its advertised to be. And its too heavy for the summer I think (for me anyway), will try it again in the fall (use up what I purchased in early spring). I think its probably a good foundation for post procedures, but as a regular every day foundation Ill try other products.

Nice but Expensive
I tried the samples of this product and was very impressed with the silky smooth texture . I did not however realize how little was in the full size container; it is only a half ounce so this foundation is more expensive than La Mer which has similar texture and coverage. I do like it, and as mentioned in another review, a little goes a long way. More coverage is achieved by using more but overall I don't think it gives any better coverage than other advertised medium coverage foundation. In summary, it's a good foundation, just be prepared for the price.

very disappointing
This makeup makes my skin flaky. I have tried all different combinations of serums/moisturizers/sunscreen underneath, and always the same result. Little flakes of skin. I also hate how it settles into lines and wrinkles.

feels good but...
The foundation really feels breathable on the skin, like second skin as it claims to be. My only problem is the color match to my complexion, light-medium with yellow or warm undertones. I have to combine two shades to get my perfect match and I am not sure I would like to do that with the price of this foundation.

Wish it worked better for me.
I am 58 and still have acne prone skin. I end up with a shine within a few hours and my pores get clogged. I use expensive products for cleansing as well, but I think the grape seed oil in this product must be the problem for me. I like the coverage and the color, but I'm going to have to keep looking for what works for me.

Oxygenetix foundation recommended for sensitive skin
I do recommend the Oxygenetix foundation for anyone with sensitive skin lik myself. It is lighter and does not give you as much coverage as Lycogel did. The applicator pumps works much better also!

Breathable but not great coverage
Feels great. looks natural. however, it doesn't provide very good coverage for scars, nowhere close to coverage that Lycogel provided
