Hello, 32 year white female here with problematic skin. I've struggled with acne and I would say it falls in the moderate category. Good days and bad. I tried this for the first time and the color was pretty close. At the same time I bought some sample colors which are perfect to add to my color Creme for highlighting. The thing to know about using this first ever (I believe?) breathable foundation is that iif you need to cover a scar or a brown spot, you need to layer it a few times over the spot. I learned that then you wait and when it dries it really stays on. I would definitely buy samples of the colors on this site first to be sure about the color and also found that mixing it with the Products moisturizer makes it look like youre not wearing any makeup!

This is the best and worst foundation all at once. It is the best because I can count on this foundation to actually heal my skin and if you apply it with a damp sponge, it looks like your real skin, only perfect. However, the shades are all completely too dark and sometimes it feels greasy unless you set it with a bit of powder. I tried to switch back to Makeup Forever Matte Velvet and it made me break out. Oxygenetix is the only foundation I could use on Accutane and the only one Ill be using from now on.

Good Foundation for My Acne Prone Skin
I have adult hormonal acne and some/most foundations exacerbate it. This foundation was recommended by a facialist at my dermatologist office and despite the big price tag I decided to give it a shot. By itself Im not a fan of the texture but I when I add 1 pump to one very small squirt of moisturizer I have better results with it and can make the bottle go a little farther. The coverage is light to medium, so it helps conceal a bit of my redness & hyper pigmentation. But for active acne I usually dab on concealer of a higher coverage foundation over top of this. I bought my second bottle here on LovelySkin and got it for much cheaper than the dermatologist office.

I do admit that you have to reapply once for extra coverage over problem areas but that issue would be eliminated if Oxygenetix would make a concealer. I wish they would come out with one. We tried so many different products. Heard about Oxygenetix from of all places - the Tyra show - in a round about way - and decided to give it a try. We were impressed that you could get color samples which made the whole process that much easier. The moisturizer is wonderful - soaks right in and does not leave her skin oily so the foundation actually stays on! The foundation covers up the discoloration nicely, although she has to put it on thicker in some places. I think overall she is very pleased with the product. It is a little pricey, but it is worth the price to see the boost with her self esteem - knowing that people dont just see the acne!

I am impressed with the research that has gone into the development of this product. The texture is like nothing else I've come across. It applies smoothly and easily, it is light weight and feels good on the skin. Unfortunately, I am unable to use it because of the color selection. My skin is very fair with pink undertones, and both of the lightest shades in the blue group were quite off for my coloring. I have purchased one for a friend and hope she will have better luck than I did.
