This gel seems to have a tendency to turn into a watery texture when applied on the face. However, it does not spread that well and sometimes makes pilling with itself, which is kind of frustrating. It is still effective on non-stubborn pimples, so I think it's probably better to be used topically instead of on the entire face.

After using a variety of PCA skin products and loving them, I decided to branch out with this acne topical mostly because of the reviews. Sad to say, this product is just meh for me. Stings on active acne, but it is overdrying. Most of all, it really doesn''t speed up blemish treatment, prevent new ones, or even do anything for blackheads. In the end, I haven't seen a noticeable difference with my mild acne. I do think that the quantity of product is generous, considering you really only need one pump for occasional breakouts.

I was really surprised at how effective this gel is at treating my breakouts. I recently developed an allergy to benzoyl peroxide, so I had to think outside the box, as normal salicylic acid has always irritated my skin. But this product is different!
