As soon as it goes on, it "fills" lip lines and makes lips look smoother. I am even able to put lipstick on top of it, although it does soften the color. I haven't used it long enough to see if it plumps lips long-term, but will continue to use it even if it is just an immediate fix for my wrinkly lips.

This product is great to keep your lips moisturized at night. I don't have to wake up and reapply at all...like I used to do with other products. I do not see the benefit of plumping the lips at all. A great, but expensive, lip balm. I have re-purchased it for my bedtime use only. That's about it.

Expensive chapstick/lip gloss
I really enjoy all of the PCA products that I have purchased so far except for this expensive lip gloss. It wears off quickly, and it doesn't plump your lips! If you like expensive lip glosses then you should purchase this. However, I do love the PCA peptide lip therapy. It stays on longer and it makes your lips feel extra soft.

I'm always on the hunt for hydrating lip products and have four to five in my purse. This product has a good amount of moisture but a large amount of slip (it feels almost oily) that I feel like it never actually soaks into my skin. It just sits on top of my lips. There are better hydrating products out there that offer deeper hydration but as a gloss it works.
