I’ve tried many things over the years to reduce the amount of ingrown hairs after hair removal as well as the hyperpigmentation that is often left behind. The only things that work for ME are waxing and PFB products. I needed something to help control ingrowns after Brazilian waxes & I’ll say it does just that even after only a few uses. The only thing is that I didn’t notice any reduction in dark spots like it claims to do but my hyperpigmentation might just be a little too deep for this one so I’m going to try the pfb vanish + chromabright next. I will say that with consistent use, you will definitely notice the dead skin peeling off, with no discomfort though. Not sure what else you’d really expect with a chemical exfoliant but for some reason I didn’t put 2 and 2 together at first and it caught me off guard so just be on the lookout for that.

Gets the job done
I have used PFB Vanish in the past (Chromabright), and it really does help with discoloration and ingrown hairs in the bikini area. If you have dark skin and struggle with ingrown hairs I recommend this product. It peels away dead skin to refresh the area, and I honestly think it slows down hair growth. I stopped using it for some time and my ingrowns came back. I quickly bought the updated version and once again I saw improvement in the area. The product does sting a bit as you put it on but you get used to it. Also, make sure to exfoliate and moisturize well as the skin in the area will be peeling. I use it daily after showering until I see results, then I reduce use to maybe 3 times a week because I don't want the area to be too raw from peeling. You will see what works for you best as you use the product. It's a bit pricey but it lasts a very long time, I still have a little bit left in my first bottle.
