Primary reason for trying this is to have something that wasn’t going to grease up my hair when trying to protect it from the blow dryer. I tried hair lotions, oils, light oils, and so on. They all turn my sad and thin hair into a greasy itchy mess. This did not do that and kept my hair light and I appreciate the heat protection it gives.

Go-To Root Volumizer!
I've been using this for so many years, I couldn't even count--20+ years? I used to prefer when it was more aerosol but I can use the pump. It's a pretty stiff drying root volumizer if you spray it on heavily and blow dry raising your hair up. Then you can brush through it and it softens up and the lift remains nice. It's for sure one of my "always have on hand" hair products that I always use if I want my hair to look special and full at the roots on the top/back of my hair. Again, I always use on wet hair and blow dry it in, then flat iron the rest of my hair as normal.
