Good conditioner
I find the hydrate line to be better suited for my needs. I seem to. need more of the strengthen conditioner than the hydrate. I don’t think you can go wrong with any line, but I’ll be sticking with the hydrate line moving forward.

OK so I do keep buying this, and that’s because I have yet to find a regular conditioner that really works for me. Which is so weird! What’s the deal with conditioners these days? Anyway, deep mask conditioners are another story… but for the daily conditioner or weekly or whatever~this one’s doing the trick so far. I would be very happy to upgrade to something better, yetttt I went through a Host of them (thumbs wayyy down) and so for now I’m finally waving the flag! Overall, the conditioner is very good at keeping hair soft and manageable. It has a very nice slip and conditions my hair very well. I just need a tiny amount per application or else my hair feels weighted down. I recommend the strength line more for the winter months. And a fragrance free line would be great. Fragrance is so non-essential.

Very little Goes a Long Way
Taking care of my hair is an arduous task. It is chin length. I have very fine hair, with little body. It takes so long to rinse out shampoo (Pureology Hydrate or Pureology Volume) and conditioner. I use a tiny amount of both products... rub the conditioner throughout my hair, and rinse quickly. I end both my shampoo and my rinse with cold water. It takes a long time to rinse my hair. Because of knots and tangles, it takes several minutes to comb out my hair. As a child, I remember my Mom yanking on my hair to get rid of knots. My hair is flat the next day. I always rewash my bangs on day two. The conditioner does make my hair shiny, and soft.

Repair in 1 Wash!
I was looking for a great reparative shampoo and conditioner after having blonde balayage done to my hair. Thanks to the generous samples from LovelySkin, I found it in this Pureology Conditioner along with the shampoo! I have used Aveda for many yrs and just felt I needed more this summer than it was delivering due to some frizziness, especially after the 2nd color when I incurred some damage in the front sections of hair. I came home from the salon and washed my hair with this set, and it felt silky and more healthy in 1 wash! I do wish this line had some options without the color conserving option because I sometimes get toner too dark and don’t want to conserve that but rather strip it out and the scent could be much nicer. I wish the scent was comparable to Aveda. So, I deduct 1 star but totally worth the sacrifice of scent for this type of silky repair results!
