Adds volume
I've used this product for years. It gives my fine, straight hair texture and volume. Once my hair is blown dry, I rub a dime size amount between my hands and piece thru my hair. It helps with staying power but yet it's flexible to work with. It doesn't give shine. I use another product along with this for a bit of shine, then spray to finish. I'm a long time fan of Pureology.

Every day must have
I use this every single morning. I can put it in or leave it looking tousled and messy or I can blow dry it for a little more precise styling. The cream is nice and thick and I just pull out a good size amount and rub between my hands and scrunch all through my hair. It’s perfect for a quick do or a refined styling!

Good hold, little texture
Solid short hair styling paste that offers silky styling but not much texture or hold without hairspray or lots of working through. Will use till the end but not sure about repurchasing as there are great alternatives.

This paste has nice hold, but I hoped for a bit firmer hold. It smells nice and hair is very soft to the touch. if you're looking for soft hold this is the product for you. I wouldn't recommend this for long hair but more for short spiky styles.

Pureology Mess It Up
Because of all the great reviews. I keep trying Pureology products hoping to find one where the scent doesn’t bother my allergies. Alas, this one didn’t work either. I also didn’t get the effect I was looking for. Even though I only used a tiny amount, it seemed too heavy for my fine hair.
