I’ve tried so many different clarifying shampoos! Either they stripped & dried my curls or they did not seem to really get buildup out. This clarifies well without totally drying my hair. Smells great & I will definitely repurchase.

I wanted a clarifying shampoo to remove buildup before doing my hair after stay at home order is lifted and chose this one. While rinsing it out you can feel how incredibly soft your hair is going to be before it’s even dry! I’ve used it several times and it has not dried out my hair whatsoever. I normally use the hydrating pureology so my hair is in good condition but I still have noticeable results with this shampoo!

Cleanses well
I use this product the day before I dye my hair. It does a good job of removing any build up from products like conditioner, hairspray, mousse, etc. and hard water. Although the label says it is "safe for color treated hair" I am concerned it might fade or lighten the color. There is no accompanying conditioner - use your favorite.

Smell makes me choke
The smell is so strong that I kept choking on the fumes while in the shower. I also got a red mark on my forehead and my scalp itches suddenly. I am not impressed at all and use Redken Extreme Shampoo, Conditioner all of the time.
