Refresh your face
Leaves your face feeling clean but it did dry my face out quite a bit. I'm prone to dry skin so I need to be careful with my products, Can only use occasionally.

Really cleans skin
I was worried about this cleanser since I’m older and have rosacea and sensitive skin. Gave it a try because of good reviews and occasional breakouts. It leaves my skin feeling clean and soft without irritation. I’ll keep using this

Decent face wash
I was trying this out to see how my skin would tolerate. It’s a concentrated formula, so a little goes a long way. I use it when I need to double cleanse.

Great for Reducing Regular Breakouts, OK at Reducing Blackheads
Pros: I have Fitzpatrick skin type III / IV and I find that this glycolic acid content is strong enough to lead to quick reduction in hyperpigmentation, but mild enough for daily use (I use it nightly). The salicylic acid makes the product even more useful to acne-sufferers than glycolic acid is on its own; the salicylic acid in it really helped calm down my cystic/hormonal acne and keeps my nose decently clear from blackheads. This 5-2 wash is great at targeting large regular and cystic breakouts; it works pretty quickly! Just make sure to wear your sunscreen with this, especially if you decide to use it in the mornings. Cons: I don't like the added fragrance (smells powdery and matronly; I much prefer the fragrance-free and neutral smell of the Replenix 10% face wash, and I wish this Gly-Sal 5-2 came in a fragrance free version or even a better smelling fragranced version), but the results from the active ingredients make up for it. Also, the formula is super gloopy (best word I can think of to describe the strange formula) and is very difficult to emulsify in water. Replenix sadly discontinued my favorite Gly-Sal 2-2 foaming face wash, which gave me amazing results and with a milder formula and did not irritate my skin like this 5-2 formula does sometimes. This 5-2 formula doesn't remove the blackheads on my nose too well, and I suspect it has to do with the thick and hard-to-emulsify texture (the 2-2 light foam did a better job and would remove 100% of my blackheads, leaving me with glass skin). I still use this Gly-Sal 5-2 and am on my second tube/bottle because I haven't found any other product that is medical grade and has the same active ingredient content (Bioderma has a green tube/bottle of gly-sal face wash that smells amazing and gave me amazing results, but it doesn't specify the active ingredients' percentages and it isn't sold in the US; only the version with mechanically exfoliating beads is). Overall, the product is pretty good given the price and its medical grade active ingredient content, but the formula's texture and fragrance could use some work.

Gets skin clean
This is thick and hard to rinse off but gets skin feeling super clean. I use it mainly on t zone and a gentle moisturizing cleanser on the rest of face. It works for me.

Deep clean pore cleanser
This is my first time purchasing this cleanser. I LOVE the brand Replenix but had never tried this particular cleanser. My criteria for daily cleansers include good pore cleaning, bacteria removal, and a deep clean feel. I would say that this cleanser definitely checks all of these boxes. I feel a deep clean after use each time and my skin looks smooth, fresh, and cleansed. It mentions to not use every day if you have dry or sensitive skin. I use it every day and it has been fine for me. It does have a slight scent so great if you enjoy a scented cleanser!
