This is a very expensive product, but I do not feel like it is luxurious. I have used several tinted SPF moisturizers that cost less and offer a more identical skin tone match. My skin is very light, and this product just makes it look orange. Very disappointing.

I have fair to light skin tone. The Intellishade says that it matches to any skin tone, but the tint is way to orange. Would be better suited for someone with medium to tan complexion.

Too greasy to be matte
I really wanted to love this, and it looks like 99% of reviewers do, but it's too liquidy/greasy for my oily skin and doesn't seem matte at all. I'm incredibly pale, but the tint works well with my skin tone; I just wish it was a little thicker and less greasy. I haven't tried any of the other Intellishade variations, but based on the descriptions, I thought this one would be the best for my oily, acne-prone skin. Back to the drawing board!

Revision Intellishade Tinted with SPF 45 Matte
Recently ordered Revision Skincare Intellishade Tinted Moisturizer SPF 45 Matte - 1.7 oz. This moisturizer goes on easily, has a very light consistency, and it takes more than expected to fully cover face and neck. The aroma is of suntan lotion but goes away quickly. My skin is combination normal and oily. I do not feel I get a matte coverage at all as my oily T-zone is in no way matte after a couple of hours. I have to blot, blot, blot whether I use it with or without makeup over the moisturizer. I’m sure this is a good SPF moisturizer for dry skin, but I doubt I will order it again. Matte it is not.

I love the original Intellishade moisturizer. The matte casts an orange hue and didn’t match my skin tone. I prefer the creamier texture of the original version and find it blends better. Will go back to using the original version.

So, I ordered the matte version because I get shiny due to oilier skin, even though the Staff Fave was for the original Revision. I preferred my sample of the original! It goes on smoother and lighter. I am hoping to return the matte and get the original. To reduce the shine, I will use some loose powder ColoreScience sunscreen over it. The regular Revision gets 5 stars from me!

Revision Matte Sunscreen not for my skin
I ordered the matte sunscreen rather than the regular formula due to the fact that I did not want a shiny look over my moisturizer. Unfortunately, it caked on top of my sunscreen. I use tinted sunscreen because I do not wear foundation or powder. It was all too obvious on my skin. Will look for another product and on the advice of a very knowledgeable employee at LovelySkin, will try to mix it with my moisturizer before applying. Good idea! This product was just too drying for my skin.

Revision tinted moisturizer
I tried the sample and thought I would love this but it did not really work for me. It seemed to sit on my skin and emphasize pores. I prefer to use the tinted Elta md sun screen with a little concealer. I will pass on to my 86 year old mother. It's a very nice product just not that great on me.

Love and Hate Relation Intellishade Matte
I have olive combo/ oily skin normal on cheeks and Tzone skiny. This product blended well with my skin tone and provides decent coverage on redness and blemish comparable to light foundation or bb. I have tried both Original and too shiny for me and Matte through samples and then a full size tube. 1.5 months use. My samples were the same as full size and here's where my love and hate comes to play. Matte looks matte as a formula or swatch on your hand but on skin looks shiny, i will lightly dust powder to blot out shine or so called overglow. I have tried with brushes for application and it streaky so this blends wells with the warmth of your fingers. The formula needs major upgrade, to say that this product gives you a flawless smooth finish would be a lie, it flakes, especially around my nose and cheeks and at times looks good to cakey all in a one day wear. So confusing the pigment breaks up look in the mirror and tell me you don't see that?, also it cause me breakouts and my skin got better after being off of it after several tries. I know everyone skin is differ not saying you all will breakout but i did. This product could be better for now in my dreams.

If you have super oily skin then this is for you. It is extremely matte and dries down on the skin instantly upon application. Not for those with dry or even combination skin unless you use a pretty decent moisturizer underneath. Color wad adapts to my Hispanic, tan, olive skin tone just fine.

Nice product but not for me. Good sun protection but it left my skin looking dull. I use the regular finish and it does much better for my skin. I guess my skin is more on the dry side, I would reccomend this only if you have oily skin type.
