I found the texture to be tacky. It pilled quite a bit overnight on top of my serums and retinol. It strikes me as more of a treatment vice moisturizer, not what I was looking for.

I loved the old formula. The new caused some strange red welts on my face and is sticky feeling even after sleeping all night with it on. I loved the consistency of the old and really hate that it is gone.

New Formula is awful
I love the old formula of this moisturizer! Let my skin bright and less wrinkled and well hydrated. The new formula has a less pleasant smell and texture, which would be tolerable if it worked as well, but after a few months I feel like my skin has had a noticeable decline in quality. I will not be purchasing again. I'm so disappointed they changed the mix! I would have bought the old formula on repeat forever.

I should have stuck with my old standbys. I was excited to try this new cream but found it to be rather sticky. Since I use it before bed I didn't like the way it felt. It tends to pill a bit. I much prefer the Triple Lipid Restore and the creams of a different brand. I won't buy this again.

New Formula Pills
I am a big fan of the SkinCeuticals line. I purchased this advanced formula thinking that it would be superior than the original formula (which I’ve been using for years) and it worked terribly for me. It immediately pills as I apply it on my skin. I cannot use it in the morning because of this, so I only use at night. When I wake up, I look a frightful mess. The original formula is fabulous and works well for me. I will go back to that. I sincerely hope that they are not planning on discontinuing the original formula.

I have been singing the praises of 2-4-2 cream from the moment I met it. So after talking to the SkinCeuticals rep who was visiting my doctor’s office, I believed A.G.E. was even better. So I bought it. I don’t like the consistency as much as 2/4-2. But the the deal breaker for me is the scent. AGE has a much stronger scent that, to me, smells like cheap aftershave. I’ll use it but can’t wait to get back to be 1st love.
