I have yet to find a melasma treatment - hydroquinone free - that really does much. This feels great, and I cant say my condition has worsened, but sadly, I do not see any improvement at all. This after 2 tubes. On to the next product :-(

Purchased the Skinceuticals Advanced Pigment Corrector because I have a great deal of brown spots that I want to fade. I have used many, many product and with no great results. My dermatologist gave me a sample of the Skinceutical and I was excited to try it. I used the sample however, it was not enought product to use for a week or two to see any results. I purchased the product and have been using it for a little over two weeks and I see no lightening/no results. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed. I will continue to use it because it was not inexpensive. Maybe I didnt give it enought time. We will see.

Ive only been using this product a few weeks and I will say that its a little early to see any spot results, but as a pigment corrector it is definitely not irritating to my skin. Plus, its not thick - in fact, pretty light and applies smoothly. If you are looking for something that is less irritating worth a try.

I have been battling melasma for 15 years now. I eliminated it for the most part with chemical peels and Obagi professional C serums, the Obagi day and nighttime moisturizers (and religious use of SPF 50 sunscreen and hats). Now that its under control, I am hoping to keep it that way with a hydroquinone-free product, hence trying this. I use it at night after cleansing and top it off with Obagi Hydrate Luxe because I live in a dry climate and have mature skin. You could forgo additional moisturizer if youre not plagued with dry skin. I dont use it in the morning because I still use the C serum in the morning. I have not had any recurrence of my brown spots. Additionally, my skin seems to feel a little softer and be a bit more glowing. I cant comment about its ability to tackle existing melasma spots, and hope to keep it that way.

Ive been using this for two weeks in the morning. It says to use it at night but I use a retinol at that time. Even just using it in the morning Ive seen a lessening of the sun blotches I get every summer. It really hasnt done anything to my darker sun freckles. It also makes my skin feel very smooth. I do use an extra moisturizer over this product because I have very dry skin and this doesnt moisturize enough for me. I havent suffered from any skin irritation and my skin is very sensitive. This product works, so Ive justified the price but if I couldnt get it on sale I might skip it and put on concealer instead.
