I’ve been using this product for almost a year now and like how it brightens the complexion so that it is glowing the next morning. I have sensitive skin and haven’t had any issues with this product, which is great. However I can’t say the changes to my dark spots are as significant as I would’ve liked after using it for so long.

Pretty sure this stuff works because when I got lazy during the pandemic & quit using it, my melasma got worse.. I like that it goes on easily, non-greasy, and has no smell. Make-up goes well on top of this. I use it every morning and most nights. Great alternative to hydroquinone.

Nice product
This was recommended by my dermatologist to treat my melasma. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and is absorbed quickly. It contains a few ingredients that prove to block pigment production. But so far I haven't seen any lightening effect on my melasma yet and I'm on my 2nd bottle. perhaps it's still too soon.

Helps with dark spots
I have a variety of dark pigments, freckles, melasma, and now recently dermtosis papulose nigra (DPN). SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense was recommended by my dermatologist, and it's helped fade the melasma but not DPN. I continue to use and alternate with two other products, also recommended by my dermatologist.

1st bottle
This product was recommended for me to use by my physician at a laser center. I have sun damage, aging spots and melasma. I have had laser treatments to reduce my dark spots, which has helped maybe 70%. SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, has taken the discoloration down noticeably from what the laser treatment has done, to where I don't necessarily have to wear heavy cover makeup anymore! It's been a good product to help reduce my dark spots, and I can't wait to see what it will continue to do since I'm only halfway through the first bottle.

I have been using this product for almost 4 weeks. Only using once a day rather than the recommended twice daily. I have been using this product regularly day and night for over a month, and I am still awaiting results. The good news is I think the spots are fading a little although they are still there, and the great news is they are not getting any worse. I am about 1/3 of the way through the bottle and I will re-access my opinion after I am completely done with the supply. It may take 6 months to see results and I am patient. I feel the ingredients in this product are meant to fade and lighten dark spots and I am positively hopefully that they will indeed fade in time. We shall see.

This product absorbs great, has no smell and plays well with other products. I'm about halfway done with the bottle and we are just coming into summer in the south. Great for giving your skin a glow but doesn't fade spots
I have mixed feelings about this product. On the one hand, it's great. It gives your facial skin a nice healthy glow. On the other hand, that's pretty much all it does. If your goal is to fade dark spots, you'll get better results from SkinCeuticals Advanced Pigment Corrector.
