Although I’ve still not seen any visible results I can say I prefer the consistency over the Alastin equivalent of this product as it dries quicker. I’m not necessarily a Skinceutical fan but some of their products are recommended by my dermatologist, including this one. That being said, I’m concerned, quantity wise, it won’t be enough for it to last and for me to be able to tell if it worked.

Disappointing
I purchased this because I read about it in a review from a trusted magazine. I also looked at the on-line reviews which raved about almost immediate results regarding lighter, brighter skin and reduction of dark spots. I have been using it twice a day for almost a month and seen absolutely no difference or even a small improvement. I will continue to use it in hopes it may eventually start working, but probably will not reorder unless I start to see a difference in my skin. Very disappointed.

Mediocre product
The reason I’m only giving a mediocre rating is because I can’t tell that use of this expensive product has improved the discoloration of my face but it has kept more discoloring from occurring which is some effectiveness.

I bought my first bottle from my dermatologist to treat my brown spots and decided to try a second bottle since LovelySkin offered better pricing when there was a sale. Like the first time around, I found this serum to be quite sticky on my skin even though I only use 2-3 drops each time. There is no fragrance to it which is nice. The sad thing for me is I still have not seen any changes to my brown spots. It’s too expensive to justify further purchases when it is doing nothing significant for me.

Received sample love the discoloration defense sad to say
I received immediately started using it a bit early however the texture and quality appears to be not the same quality as the sample I received immediately I purchase a bottle due to I love the glow after using the sample I saw my skin was glowing. I’ve been using it for 1 week and definitely not happy with the product. I’ve been using SkinCeutical products for over 6 years. I wondering did the ingredients changed? I loved the sample, bought a full size and hoped to continue the color correction. The first week of using the sample, my skin looked a lot better. It’s been a month, and no change from the first week. Still looks good like after the first week, but no further improvements.

Minimal Results
My dermatologist recommended I add this product to my routine to address hyperpigmentation from tanning when I was younger. She said to give it plenty of time, but I've been through two bottles and the results so far have been minimal at best. I do think it makes my skin more sensitive and dry. I have yet to see a difference but I also have read that it works best when used with conjunction with a retinol. I would love to see my age/sun spots fade or disappear so I am hopeful. I like it. I'm not sure it works as well as I had hoped but it does do some minimizing of spots. I also have melasma so not all of my areas of darkness can be treated. The individual spots - non melasma related - have some fade to them, but it's not as much as I was hoping for. Maybe my expectations were too high.
