So I like this serum but I’m not sure it’s actually doing anything. It feels nice on but I don’t notice any more hydration.

It's just okay
I got a sample in the mail and applied it on a dry spot near my nose and it healed really quickly. I ordered the bottle, and did the same thing, not sure if it was close to expiration, but it did not end up working as well as the sample did. I would just stick to their daily moisturizer or triple lipid night cream.

This is pretty expensive for what you get. I believe La Roche Posay has something similar at a much more reasonable price. Otherwise, it is effective.

Great for Winter skin, but will likely not repurchase
I've been using a few drops of this at night or whenever my skin feels a little on the dry side. I'm not sure if I'll end up repurchasing. I will likely try something else on the SkinCeuticals line before reordering this as I haven't noticed MAJOR differences and it's a little pricey for me.

Loved this hydrating moisturizer
I really like Hydrating B5 Gel. Soaks right into skin not sticky at all. My face felt so soft and smooth. The only thing that keeps me from purchasing it again is it kind of pricey for a product that only last you about 6 wks.

Plumps the skin temporarily
It def is a good hydrator that plumps the skin without leaving a viscous film like some other HA serums do. It is lightweight and layers well under many of my skincare items. Having said that, the plumpness did not last long, and I def need to seal it with another moisturizer (combination skin). I use 2-4 drops every morning/night and went through half the bottle in a month. That is way too expensive, so I am looking for a cheaper version of HA like the one from the ordinary.

It's good, but nothing amazing
I've used the B5 Gel for years. I first started using it as a means to get rid of the tackiness the C E Ferulic left after applying. I think it is a nice serum. It goes on smoothly and preps the skin nicely for my next application. I'm not sure how much it does anything transformational to my skin. For that, I take a 5 star rating down to a 4. Maybe if I stopped using I would find out, but because it gets rid of C E Ferulic tackiness (that is worth it because of how amazing C E Ferulic is) and because it does not pill up under lotion, and because it does not make me break out at all, I stick wit it. I do think it's too pricey though as there are other hyaluronic serums that likely work just as well for much less money, so for that reason, I took it to 3 stars.

I was super excited when I got it, but it wasn't as great. It did help to repair my skin somewhat with the help of a moisturizer but it made me break out every time. I would get small white heads every morning. I'm still looking for a great serum for acne prone that could also help with the redness.

What I like about this product is that it feels very neutral...doesn't irritate your skin and provides a boost of hydration. But, it does not do enough to hydrate the dry areas of my skin (even with a cream layered on top). Would be great lightweight moisture for oily skin types. Not mattifying but does not contribute to shine, either.

A bit disappointing!
This is a lightly hydrating gel with a thin consistency. It definitely made my dry patches look plumper. I also love the dispenser, which is a dropper that gives you the perfect amount. Unfortunately, it breaks me out! Im really disappointed because it feels great going onto the skin. Pros:lightweight, oil free, fragrance and dye free. Cons: maybe not for acneic skin, pricey. I should note that this product is neither a serum nor a moisturizer. Its a hydrator that goes under other skin care.
