Disappointed
This serum is supposed to bind moisture to the skin and hydrate the skin with hyaluronic acid. My skin, which is combination skin, actually feels dryer after I apply it. I have been using this product for a few weeks and do not notice any benefit to using it. I will not buy it again.

Was excited to try this sample I received. Unfortunately after using for 3 days, I realized my skin texture was terrible. It caused bumps - not milia, almost like tiny mosquito bites - across my cheeks, and nose. This was the only new product I added, so I'm sure it was the source. It was moisturizing, but not worth it. I know Skinceuticals has a great reputation, but the few products I've tried always leave my skin looking worse than when I started. Perhaps not the best choice for sensitive skin.

This product is a complete waste of money and lie. My $20 Amazon product did the same results and 1/4 the money. Wouldn't buy again or even think to. Felt no more hydration than a hyaluronic product that was not SkinCeuticals

Not effective and possibly aging
The first time I used this product, my skin looked flaky, so I followed it with a cream, and I wondered what hydration I was getting from this product. On night two, I followed this product with a facial oil and they worked ok together, so I felt more optimistic but still skeptical (as maybe just the oil would be better). Night three, I used a moisturizing cleanser, so I followed that with this product alone. I didn't look in the mirror again for about 40 minutes, but when I did, I saw deep lines on one side of my chin, which I'd never seen before (I'm 39). Not only did the product lack benefits, but it seemed to have a negative effect on my skin's appearance. I was drawn to this product for environmental reasons (no palm oil derivatives and glass bottle), but it's a no go for me.

Doesn't work for me
After using this product for only two days, I had an allergic reaction. I got red, dry, peeling skin, very unattractive, red bumps. I then noticed that this is good for acne prone skin, which I do not have. Perhaps that ingredient was the suspect. I have very dry, sensitive skin. I regret that I threw away the packaging or I would have returned it. This was an expensive experiment that didn't work. I have liked all other SkinCeuticals products, but this one is not for me. My husband has oily, acne prone skin. Think I'll pass it on to him.
