I like this consistency because it’s thick & one drop is enough for me to use in the morning & another at night. Since I’m older, I can’t say the results are noticeable, but I’m going to give this treatment more time. The one downer is the price.

I want so badly to give this item 5 stars, because it has everything working in its favor. A little goes A LONG way, I think this bottle will be around for a long time. I'm used to HA serums taking a lot of product in order to cover the entire face and neck...this one uses 2, maybe 3, drops total to cover all that same area. On top of that, the product allows you to massage it into the skin whereas other products tend to immediately dry on the skin before you can even use your fingers to work it in. I also love how this product, unlike others, does not leave a tacky residue to the surface. My only complaint is that due to having extremely reactive skin, I did get some minor breakouts immediately after incorporating this product into my routine. I stopped the product, sure enough my skin cleared up...tried to introduce again and it broke out again. I am hoping I will adjust to it over time because it really is a good product, but just beware that if you have sensitive, reactive skin you may notice breakouts after using.

Pretty good
I really like this product for preventing dry spots and it may help with complexion, but personally I think it needs to be combined with a moisturizer because on its own it doesn't provide enough moisture. You could probably get by without this product, especially if you don't have dry skin.

I purchased SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Hyaluronic Acid Gel Serum based on trying a sample I had received. I like the serum, which goes on smoothly and is not sticky. I can put makeup on top of it without a problem. I rated it 4 stars because I find that although it initially does a good job on some of my challenge areas, I have to re-apply it mid day to keep the hydration refreshed. This could be because I live in an extremely dry climate, though, and my skin is very dry.

Absorbs So Quickly
This serum is oil free and is immediately absorbed into the skin. My skin feels smoother after application. I'm not sure yet if it is successful in hydrating my very dry skin, however. I have not been using it for very long, but I do apply it twice a day. The other thing is that it is not a gel in my opinion. It has the consistency of water.

I'm on my second bottle of the Hydrating B5 HA Gel Serum and I really enjoy it. It pairs really well with every other step of my skin care routine and my skin is definitely more hydrated since I've been using. I use 1 drop 2x/day and it does the trick! This is a very good hydrating serum. It is better than most that I have tried; however, if you have sensitive skin, you may want to do a patch test prior to using on your whole face and neck. I find SkinCeuticals to put irritating ingredients into their products (at least for those with sensitive skin). This is definitely the LEAST irritating of their products and would be very good choice for someone with non-reactive skin!
