I’ve used this mask a few times now. It’s very hydrating. I did read on the Skinceuticals website that you are supposed to wash it off (the directions on the package and the tube were different on my product). The Q&A section of the website addresses this and have clear directions.

Nice Moisturizing Mask
I absolutely love this mask. It's great to use first thing in the morning following cleansing and toning. Should I have no plans for the day, I only apply the mask and relax all day. SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel Mask
I bought this on a lark. I have used SkinCeuticals B5 Gel for many years and love it and I thought, “how could this be bad?” Well, it is definitely good for my skin. It has a bit of a strange consistency once it dries, a little like rubber cement, and there is no adding another product over it after it is dry. That said, the morning after I apply it my skin is as soft, smooth, and glowing as it ever gets. The effects last about 24 to 48 hours depending on the weather.

I have used SkinCeuticals products for my main skincare regimen for years and love their products. Unfortunately, this mask did not provide moisture to my skin. It even seemed to make it dry and in need of replenishing. Disappointed, but I still believe in the brand overall.

I love SkinCeuticals but was so disappointed with this mask
I love a few SkinCeuticals products, but this one was such a disappointment. I used it and my skin did not feel even slightly more hydrated. Also, the bottle says to massage in excess and the box says to rinse off. I'm going to return - definitely not worth the money.
