This gel is the one thing that will calm my rosacea. My face gets very red and irritated after a good workout. I apply after washing with a mild cleanser, it is very soothing on my skin. I have purchased this product numerous times and will continue to do so.

I love the way this product feels on my skin. It is a nice clean fresh coverage. I guess that is where the “calming” comes in. Other than that, I don’t see any benefits like combating redness or anything like that. Maybe I don’t understand the intent of the product. It is a little pricey for what it is but I like it and will keep using it (provided I can get it on sale).

Calming but underwhelming
I might have expected too much from this product, especially given its price. It does seem to calm the skin a bit -- I think it might benefit those with acute highly reactive skin than those who generally just have redness and ocassional reactivity. I tend to prefer other products for sensitive skin over this but I'm glad I tried it.
