Best in hydration and exfoliation
My two main skin concerns are dryness and hyperpigmentation and this serum addresses both. I live in CO and the weather has been drier than usual. This product has been a lifesaver. I use this every other night, as I alternate with the Glycolic 10 overnight and Phyto Corrective Gel. I’ll sometimes use the HA intensifier on top for an added punch, before my moisturizer. So glad LovelySkin carries the whole line!

Multi-tasking serum
I love that this product gently exfoliates but hydrates my skin as well. Hasn't caused any irritation even though I have other resurfacing acids and a retinoid in my skin care rotation. I prefer using it at night because on my skin it can feel slightly tacky especially when paired with my SPF. In the morning I use the Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 Gel instead.

Really effective and different
I’ve never used a serum that helps exfoliate while still being moisturizing. This serum has helped with dark spots, wrinkles, and is definitely refining my skin. I use two drops day and night. It serves as my moisturizer and primer too. I highly recommend.

Loving this serum thus far. I always try to give a product 4-6 weeks to review. It’s a tad earlier, but upon using it you feel a wonderful smoothness come over your skin. Like glass. Gentle Exfoliating Serum
Skin Ceuticals Retexturing Activator Serum is a very gentle Exfoliator. Excellent for someone with sensitive & dry skin. The exfoliation is mild & it does not cause irritation like redness or excessive peeling. If regular prescription Retin-A is too harsh for you then this product is a MUST TRY! It is gentle enough that you could use it morning snd night. It absorbs quick, dries nice and doesn’t really have a scent. I think out of all the products Skin Ceuticals makes, their serums are the BEST! I LOVE this serum as well as their HA INTENSIFIER and CE FERULIC. Their serums play well together. I have found that this product is especially nice during the winter months when our skin tends to be dryer.

Fantastic product for renewing skin
I have been applying Retexturing Activator for over 10 years since my late 40is. I use it on my face and neck daily in the morning, about 10 min. after applying SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic. I avoid the eye area. Fantastic product for exfoliating skin when used in combination with a nightly Retinol or Retin A cream. About every couple of weeks my skin is lightly peeling and flaking off, due to using both products regularly. A gentle scrub helps to get rid of the dead skin cells. At age 60, my skin looks youthful, tight and glowing and feels incredibly soft. Skin damage that started showing up in my 30's got completely reversed. I get frequent compliments.

I really wanted it to be a new staple.
I was so excited to buy this because of all the great reviews. I've been using it since it arrived and haven't seen any improvements. Especially for the price point. It does feel slightly moisturizing, but I have had odd bumps on my face since using it. Will discontinue. Hopefully I can get a refund.

Not Like It Use To Be
I have purchased this product from SkinCeuticals a couple years back, and I absolutely loved it!! So when I had a chance to purchase again, with a promo code, I jumped all over it! However I am half way through the bottle, and I feel like I’ve just been putting an over priced water on my face. I have seen absolutely no results, while following the specific directions for this item. I’m not saying that I know for sure or have proof that ingredients have changed, but I can say that specific item has done nothing for my face and is not the same item I purchased a few years back. Super disappointing!
