Good for weekly use

I can't recall how I originally happened upon this product, whether it was from an internet search I did for removing dead skin and oil bumps (yuck, I know) from underneath the eyes or from just browsing the LovelySkin website. In any case, I liked the idea of a product that would chemically exfoliate my skin and immediately remove dead skin cells. I was reminded of having read something about a product in Japan that did something very similar and was wildly popular. I felt very comfortable purchasing this product from LovelySkin because I know I can trust them and that they stand beside the products they select. The product does exactly what it says it does. As soon as you put it on your face the dead skin balls up and rolls off. I was suspicious that it was really just the product itself rolling off, but I could see the product coming off was grey. Dirty. (Again, yuck.) afterward my skin felt smooth and moist. I followed up with my regular skincare routine. I do see the appearance of the little bumps that I get under my eyes. I tried using it on my lips, but for me it was too irritating. It may not be for others. At first I tried using this product every other day, but that was a little to harsh and cajoling for my sensitive skin. I use it about once a week now and that's prefect for me. This product definitely would not replace my glycolic peel pads, but it's good for a quick sloughing off and for the bumps on my eyes that I can't get using the glycolic peel because you're not supposed to get that near your eyes. I gave this product 4 stars but it's really closer to a 3.5 stars, because for me, it's not as good as peel pads and it can be too chapping. I don't know yet if I'd buy it again.
