I purchased this for my 18-year-old daughter who, until a few months ago, had absolutely perfect skin. She had been following a routine religiously throughout her preteen and early teen years (using another well-known brand's routine) that kept her skin flawless. However, something changed several months ago. Because I use SkinMedica products for anti-aging purposes and absolutely swear by them, I thought their acne system would be just as fabulous. My daughter seems happy that her acne has cleared—and has cleared some—but I guess I was expecting a marked difference within a few weeks like with the products that I use. I'm sure some of her issue is hormonal (as I vaguely remember having a bout with acne when I turned 18), so we will just give it some more time. I have full confidence in SkinMedica products, so hopefully...eventually...this system will be just as amazing! :)

It works!
I purchased this system for my 16-year-old daughter who breaks out around her forehead and cheeks leaving hyperpigmentation on the skin. The acne wash and lotion are great at keeping oil at bay and have decreased the intensity of her breakouts. She also uses the Lytera by SkinMedica for the dark spots left on her cheeks after the acne has healed. It works well at lightening these spots. I recommend highly.
