Better than Lytera 2.0
So I decided to switch to this serum after using Lytera 2.0 for many years as I heard is getting discontinued. I am not sure if I can see any visible difference between both but I need to mention that I am on regular micro-needling/laser regimen and my skin looks smooth from many procedures and I don’t have any dark spots. I will be using this serum because I am scared that if I stop those discoloration might come back but overall I think this product and Lytera are very similar..

Another Win for SkinMedica
It's hard to go wrong with any SkinMedica product. The only drawback to anything in this line is the price. I'm fair skinned and have fought discoloration since my 30's. The Even & Correct Line actually has help fade red marks from menopausal acne and my brown discoloration. I am almost through my first bottle and have definitely seen a difference using it just once a day in conjunction with the Even & Correct pads in the evening. If you are having difficulty finding something that works, this is definitely worth a try:)

I bought this with hopes it would reduce the red spots left from having a pimple. I began using it as instructed and found it did! I'm not sure why a random pimple started leaving a red spot to my skin , but it has. The Even and Correct has dimished them within the 2 months timrframe of the product. I'll continue to use it as needed.

Good so far
This is my second bottle of this product and I use it at least once a day. I’ve heard amazing things about how it helps bring up pigmentation and prevent future pigmentation. Honestly, I can’t tell if it’s working, because the brown spots on my cheeks and tops of my hands are still there. However, I have to say my skin does look clearer and brighter overall, which might be attributable to this product. The product itself is lovely - it has virtually no scent, and it has a silky texture that’s a little thicker than a serum but thin enough that just one single pump is enough to cover my face and neck - sometimes I’ll do 1.5 pumps if I want to cover my décolleté and backs of hands, too. So I will keep using this for at least another few months to see if I continue to notice improvement - I will provide an update.

Encouraging results
My skin is brighter and looks more hydrated. It has improved the darker skin (from the sun) on my chest a good amount. I have noticed a little improvement of the brown spots (from acne and sun) on my face, but not a significant amount. However I have only had the product for a few weeks, so I am hopeful.

Switching from similar product in same line
A similar product from this line was recommended by my dermatologist for melasma. I've been using it for a couple of years. It never wowed me. I thought I'd give this new product a try. So far, I think I prefer it over the other product. The texture is slightly different and it seems more effective.

I have used different lighteners, including prescription. Lytera works the best at lightening my melasma. I tried this "upgrade" from SkinMedica and I believe it works the same as Lytera. I do not experience any skin irritation which is great as I do have sensitive skin.

It has a very nice consistency and absorbs quickly. I have only been using it for about two weeks, so it is a bit early to tell how effective it is on my brown spots. I see some brightening of the skin already, so I have great hope that there will be quite an improvement in brightening and in fading the brown spots after having used it for about two months. I mix it with my retinol in the evening, because it allows me to handle the retinol better, and that is a great additional benefit.

Even and correct
Just had IPL treatment to reduce brown spots on face due to sun damage and minor pre cancer spot freezings and scrapings at dermatologist. Using the skin medica even and correct in between the two treatments. It has only been a couple of weeks, but the combination is definitely working. My skin is much clearer and brighter and spots are lighter. I have had no irritation from the even and correct. I wear it each night. Since I have only had one treatment, I do attribute some of the improvement to Skin Medica but how much I can’t say. The combo is definitely working for me and I will probably continue using for at least the next three months and reevaluate then.
