I’ve been using SkinMedica cleanser for 10 years. I’ve used many others in between those years but always come back to SkinMedica. It does not dry out my skin and it’s very effective at cleansing sunscreen and makeup from my skin. I like the smell and texture too. I use several SkinMedica products and I love them all. I have been reluctant to change up my "go to" nightly cleanser, from EltaMD, Foaming Facial Cleanser, however, after using SkinMedica's Facial Cleanser, I have to say, now I have a second "go to", and alternate nightly! This face wash seems to be gentle. To me its just ok, but its a good amount for the money it cost. It has sort a gel consistency not a cream or lotion and it foams decent once you apply it. Does not irritate my skin or anything. Probably will try a different cleanser one once this bottle is gone just because it does not seem to have the overall experience I was thinking it would.

Old Woman Smell.
This was my first time trying SkinMedica products and I was not that impressed. The scent of this cleanser was very potpourri-ish....reminded me too much of an elderly woman scent. It does the job of washing my face, but I just can't get past the smell. I will not be repurchasing. Kinda disappointed with all the hype I have heard from this brand.
