I did not care for this product when I first started using it as it was thicker than moisturizers I had used in the past so it was difficult to spread over my face. Then my esthetician told me to put a pump full on my finger tip, add a drop of water (I used a tiny spray bottle), then massage the product and water gently with your fingertips. Voila, it spreads like a dream.

After reading the reviews, I tried this product and I am hooked. I have issues with redness and drying, but this product (which I use with the TNS Essential Serum, Vit C&E, and retinol) and this product calms my skin. Since using SkinMedica, my skin feels and looks so much better. I have none of the irritation and redness that I used to suffer. Obagi did not work for me but SkinMedica works beautifully.

results don't justify cost
The company claims that HA5 provides immediate smoothing in the appearance of fine lines so I guess I thought that it would trap moisture and give temporary plumping. I do love the silky feel of this product but I don't see any improvement in the appearance of my skin. Given the price, I would classify this as a nice luxury product for those who don't have to worry about cost.
