Not sure if SkinMedica changed this formula but It seems to be working better than it did years ago when I purchased it. Maybe my needs have changed and the magic is working. I do wish they would change the packaging to a air tight container instead of a open jar.

Great eye cream for sensitive eyes!
I received a sample of this product and really loved the eye cream! But, I took off one star because like many others, I am not so sure about the packaging. I agree that a lot of the cream will be wasted by dipping your finger into a jar as it is hard to get the tiny bit needed on just your finger tip. I do wish they would change the packaging and sell it in a tube like the sample. Customers care more about the quality and effectiveness of the product than they do about ‘the look’ of the product. Also, I am guessing the jar is much more expensive than a tube soooo maybe the packaging change would also cut the cost of the product a little bit, too. Just a thought...

Great Eye Cream but Not So Great Packaging
I have had this eye cream for a while now and really liked it but wasn't using it due to the packaging. I know many don't like jars due to the concern that they are more likely to allow the product to be contaminated. I am not anti-jar but I feel the packaging should be something that works best with the viscosity of a product. I love pumps but they don't work well for products that are too thick. This is a great eye cream and I would repurchase the product but my hesitation is the packaging. This eye cream is a very soft cream and it is difficult to get a small amount of product out of the jar. I always ended up with way too much and who wants to waste a product that is this expensive. Rather than have it sit around unused for that reason, I put the product into a small glass bottle with a pump! It dispenses just the right amount of this awesome eye cream to hydrate under my eyes! I love the eye cream but don't want to have to transfer a product on a consistent basis. This isn't solely a SM issue but it is frustrating when a packaging decision impacts the customer experience. I'm sure they feel this little jar has a more elegant look but I am more concerned with functionality of the packaging. This is a 5 star product but it loses a star for their packaging decision.

Fell in love with this eye cream after receiving a sample with another order. I love the cream itself but really wish it came in a pump. The jar comes with a plastic scoop that is awkward to store. For such an expensive purchase, you'd think the packaging would be better thought out.

I began using SkinMedica products last fall (I mistakenly wrote Skinceuticals in one review since I’ve tried both brands, I mixed them up!). For the most part I really like them, especially the TNS Essential Serum and the SPF 34 & 50 Sunscreens, which are actually so much more than a sunscreen. And, I like this eye cream, too. A little goes a long way. I don’t care for the jar & plastic applicator, tho. I find the jar’s shape awkward, & I prefer a cream I can pump or squeeze out rather than having to use an applicator (because especially around the eyes, it’s more hygienic than using fingers which could introduce bacteria into the cream). So, time will tell if I like it better than other eye creams I’ve tried, justifying a delivery system I don’t care for so much.

The TNS Eye Repair does a good job of moisturizing the eye area. The skin around my eyes is losing the crepe paper look. The cream tends to pill, so I will use it mainly at night time.
