This is the third Eye Repair that I have used. The prior two were recommended by my professional medical aesthetician and they were good but not great. I felt if I am spending this kind of money, I should love it and so I used the Skin Medica TNS Serum and love it so decided to try the TNS Eye Repair and It is really great! I know the design might be difficult for some but I don't mind using my finger to get it out of the container and then apply. This one is interesting.. I use the TNS so I assumed the matching eye cream would be equally impressive. I primarily bought this because of the growth factors and other ingredients.I’m on my second jar and wanted to wait before writing a fair review. First off, the jar looks like a tiny space ship and for some reason I struggle getting the lid open because the shape of the bottle makes it so slippery! Also- all of the product is exposed to light and air and your fingers, or the spoon, which is kind of a peeve of mine. All of that being said, my biggest question mark about this cream is that it pills almost every time I use it. I imagine it’s the silicones? I’ve tried every different way possible to apply it, but it’s almost impossible not to get the pill effect ( for me, at least). I will say that if you can actually get it to absorb- it’s a beautiful cream. I’m giving it a 4 for the ingredients and price/value and some results in the darkness and firmness around my eyes. It is moisturizing once you can get it to finally absorb, and you just need the tiniest amount, so this jar lasts forever I’m a 48 yo female for reference. Every time I use it morning and eve , I cross my fingers it won’t pill, but I just don’t think I can overlook that aspect to buy it a 3rd time , despite the amazing ingredients. I asked my Botox injector for her advice and she admitted she had the same problem with the pilling , so I guess I’m not the only one ? This may just not be a good match for my skin and may be a beautiful cream for someone else so- I say give it a try. For me, I’ll probably pass and try a different one. What I have rated it on so far Is the texture, ease of application and how it actually absorbed without a heavy or greasy feeling. I have high hopes for this product since all of my other SkinSceuticals have worked so well for me. I have extremely sensitive eyes and I am hoping I will not have a bad reaction., but if I do, I know that LovelySkin has a wonderful return policy and they make it so easy to do. I will be happy to reevaluate once I have been using this for awhile.
