I have dry skin, but also suffer from acne. I was worried that this moisturizer wouldnt be hydrating enough (especially since I use products for acne), but luckily I took the plunge and purchased it, because I was wrong. Its lightweight, but hydrating. Doesnt cause breakouts, smells fresh (but not overly-fragranced), spreads easily, absorbs quickly. Very nice moisturizer over all. I think its best used in conjunction with other SkinMedica products.

I wouldn't consider my skin to be oily all of the time but especially during the summer, I need a lighter moisturizer. I've tried many, many other products like Estee Lauder, Epionce, Murad and while they were good products, they did not work as well as this one did for me. The others left my skin feeling greasy or heavy and the Ultra Sheer moisturizer does not. I like that it feels thin going on but my face still feels moisturized.
