Weird texture, doesn't soak in
This is supposedly a "silky" texture but really it's just kinda slimy and greasy. And no matter how long you wait it never actually soaks into the skin. I use skinmedica retinol and love it. But this was a huge disappointment.

After applying this silky lotion once a day for 5 days on the fifth night I awoke to my face burning and fire red! I thought I was having an allergic reaction to this product but the more I researched I realized that this product has an exfoliating process. Thus the term "brightens" in the description. I was bright red for 5 days then started to peel. In all fairness I used more product than I should have at each application, but 1 pump did not seem enough to cover my face so probably used 2-3. I believe this product could use a little more warning re: side effects, Not sure if I'm ready to try again.
