Not enough cool-toned neutral shades
I really like the texture of these eye shadows—so smooth and pigmented. Unfortunately, there is only one color I really like: chinois, a matte cream that works especially well as a base shade. I prefer matte, cool-toned neutrals with no red in them—taupes and grays—and Stila doesn’t offer many of these. If they did, I’d definitely buy more Stila shadows.

Smooth application
I purchased several brands of eye shadow recently, including stila, looking for an eye shadow that wouldnt aggravate my sensitive eyes. Although stila didnt make my eyes itch and react as badly as some others did, it was still slightly irritating. Too bad! I would describe Jezebel as a soft copper with a little shimmer and Eden as a nice neutral nude eye shadow.
