A former hairdresser / friend talked to a knowledgeable person in a hair supply store in Garden City, KS. My friend explained because of some health issues that I am dealing with, my hair was coming out in handfuls in my brush and in the shower drain. After only 2 days of using the samples she sent me, the amount of hair in my brush and drain had diminished. Now it is the only shampoo I will use on my hair and I use the conditioner every other shampoo, because my hair being fine, it tends to weigh it down. I live in Texas, and found LovelySkin on the internet and found them to be a well run gracious company.

I have a very dry & such an itchy scalp. Like makes me crazy itchy! No dandruff, more like eczema but not really. I shampoo my hair with a regular shampoo then use Awaken as a scalp treatment. I use such a small amount of this shampoo, not even a dime size blob. I use it only on my scalp. ( I have long hair) I massage it in for about a minute then I rinse. I use the Awaken conditioner. The first time I used these products you could really feel them working. They were doing their job! It was crazy! My scalp has calmed down so much it's really kind of amazing. I can go 2 or 3 days between shampoos. When you scalp is dry it compensates by creating oil. Before Awaken I had to either live in my oily hair or shampoo everyday which only makes everything worse. I love this stuff. As an added bonus...I have so much new hair growth!! I wasn't really expecting that so it was a sweet surprise!
