My hair strands feel stronger
First time I use the Bassu line from Surface. I've been using this shampoo along with the line's conditioner for a month. I feel my hair stronger and it seems thicker. For my current dehydrated wavy hair I get a squeaky clean feeling after rinsing the product. I haven't had any adverse scalp issue while using it and my hair is growing a little bit faster. The shampoo has a creamy consistency and lathers well but has a very strong fragrance; one which everyone notices even while the bottle is closed. For me it is a pleasant smell but too overpowering.

Nice shampoo
I use another shampoo from this line, so thought I would try this for a change. Pros - seems to smooth out my course, thick hair. Cons - scent may be too much for those with perfume sensitivities.

Very moisturizing
I really like the shampoo but have fine long hair. While I love the results, I do have to alternate with other products or it relaxes all the curl too much and weighs hair down a bit. Still love it and will continue to use in rotation. Probably better for thicker haired ladies.

Smells like fruit loops
I bought this for my daughter. Overall I think it’s a good product. It does give coarse hair some frizz control but she hated the smell as a young women. She hated the smell plus it fades away very quickly
