Reviews For Tria Age-Defying Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser
Easy to Use
I'm 59, but people routinely tell me I look 15 years younger, so wrinkles have not been an issue for me - until recently. (To younger ladies - Retin-A is the secret. I started using it in my 20s. Older ladies, let your daughters know.) One day about 2 months ago, I woke up with a few faint lines under my eyes. I did a bunch of research and came up the Tria. Yes, it hurts. Yes, your face will be very red. As others have said, you could use lidocaine 20 min prior to use, then wash it off and dry, but for me, the pain was not quite bad enough to bother. It took at least 2 weeks before the pain lessened and the redness went away more quickly after each use. Initially, I would be red for hours. Also initially, I freaked out a bit after each use, because using the laser made my skin sandpapery and the wrinkles worse. I actually looked 10 years older. If it hadn't been for other reviewers warning about this, I might have stopped. It was so bad, I literally could not look at myself in the mirror afterwards. The more wrinkled look lasted for hours, initially. The sandpaper was 2 full weeks. By 2 weeks, the more wrinkled look faded quickly (an hour or so) and the sandpaper effect was gone, but I still wasn't seeing any improvement. It's now 4 weeks and I have definitely started seeing a difference, both with the lines lessening by about 50% and with age spots getting a very tiny bit lighter. I would like more benefit for the age spots, but even if I get no additional benefits for the lines, I will have felt this worth it. Even Obagi Nu-Derm (see my review) didn''t do this for me. I will update after the full, 4 week cycle.
