Like another review said, I also tried another brand's lash separator. It was subpar, but I did not know any better. I thought it was the best I could get. Until I tried this!! This is fabulous. It totally gets out all the clumps that some mascaras leave and separates my lashes beautifully. Caution: Be careful when using as it is incredibly sharp. It may not be appropriate to use if you cannot see well up close.

I've been using Tweezerman's ILashcomb for more than a decade. When mine finally broke while cleaning the bristles, I tried a different brand of metal lash comb. The metal tines on that one were not as finely-spaced or as sharp, so it performed no better than a blunt-tipped plastic one. I threw that one away, and I bought this one again. This works so well to separate mascara-ed lashes for a natural look. If you like a dramatic, volumized lash look, you might not need this. Note that the metal tines on this are even sharper than they look, so use extreme caution when using it at first. Also, even though the LovelySkin photo shows a clear lash comb, the one they sent is plain dark blue, like the old one I replaced.

This is the best eyelash comb out there. It is the only one with fine enough teeth to actually separate eyelashes with mascara. The teeth are sharp at the tip, so be careful! Throw away all of your plastic eyelash combs or those other metal ones with wide teeth and, buy this one!

I used to be able to purchase this in the cosmetics department at my local pharmacy. You have to be careful and clean this after each use, but for those of us with lashes this is the one that works. No clumps, no smudges, just lovely even application of your favorite mascara. I clean it gently with a baby toothbrush and soap. Worth the money!!

Glad to have found this. Had one for years (maybe another brand) but a couple of the teeth came out, so was looking to replace. It is MUCH better than any brush or other solutions we come up with (pin, tweezer tip, etc) to separate clumped lashes. No matter what mascara, they all clump and this is the best option ever.
